ATTITUDE FOR PRAYER

WHAT MATTERS
9/7/2016
Dr. C. Branker.
The five fingers on each hand reminds us of the attitude of our heart we should have when we pray.
The Thumb, which is the largest finger speaks of HUMILITY
It folds toward the palm of the hand so the other four can comfortably fold on it.
The index or pointing finger, represents TRUTH
It is used for instruction and pointing out correctness.
The third finger reminds us of OBEDIENCE to God's word.
It is the longest finger, and obedience will take us through our journey in life with God's blessings.
The fourth finger declares THANKSGIVING
This is when we begin to speak in His presence after examining the heart silently concerning the previous three.
The fifth finger is our CONFIDENCE
Small but supports a big thumb. It doesn't matter our size, we serve a greatly mighty God, and we can all live in confidence.
