SHOUT FOR JOY

WHAT MATTERS

What ever makes you joyful, deserves a shout. We read of so many historical events where people shout for joy and happiness. Whether the ending of a war and solders returning home from battle, or a new born baby is born, that brought shouts of joy in the streets of many cities and villages in time past. Today we see few cities shouting for joy.
Qatar shouted for joy, when they heard the news they were selected for the next World Cup. Usually a victory of a sporting event will bring that shout to a community. Everyone needs to express joy and happiness.
Joy represents strength, courage and pleasure.
Here in the U.S., the Declaration of Independence, states that "we are endowed by our Creator with certain inalienable rights, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." This was penned in 1776. Since then we have been pursuing happiness as a nation.
Individually, we should set goals for the things that will make us joyful. When they are accomplished, don't forget to shout for joy. Don't just wait for graduation or buying a new house or car, but practice shouting for joy for the little things.
The world is full of sadness and hopelessness and it is not getting better.
Remember the scriptures Psalms 118:24 "This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it".
Nehemiah 8:10Nehemiah said, "Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength." HAVE A SHOUTING JOYFUL DAY.
