The secret of True love is Selflessness. The act of sacrificing ones own interest for another comes from a sincere heart. To be in love with someone where there are only expectations or demands, to meet one person's need; that is a relationship that is not going any where.
Whether it is a friend, fiancé, or spouse, love is kind and sacrificing. So many hearts and relationships are hurting because one partner has given everything and the other is not appreciative but demands more.
The reason why these relationships sometimes continue for a long time, is simply because the one who truly loves, cannot just unplug their heart and walk away; even though, he or she has given everything to the relationship but receives an unequal share in return.
Falling in love, is the greatest feeling between two individuals, staying in love is the art and practice of giving more of yourself until your are consumed of each other's love and welfare.
Many married and unmarried couples are miserable and unhappy. So much time has gone into the relationship, but the hunger for more is not being filled.
Your survival is to reconnect with your family and sincere friends who you had to sacrifice. Pray to the God of love for direction. He never left your side. His love is Everlasting and Pure.
