Have you ever seen a beetle on its back? 

 I don't really know how the beetle feels, because I don't speak beetle language. What I do know however, by the vigorous movements with its legs in the air, it is a desperate attempt to flip right side up again.This tell-tale position is actually a symptom of an ailing bug's decreased coordination and failing nervous system.

Because it is laying on its wings, it doesn't have the strength to push up and fly and due to the oval shape of its back, the ability to roll over on its legs again is almost impossible. Actually roaches, flies and many other insects die the same way. There are scores of answers from smart people explaining this phenomenon but no one knows for sure.

The need to trust in our Creator in everything is the way of life. There are so many hard things to explain and understand as we live each day. Let us put our confidence in Him today.

In the scripture Paul said "For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain". Philippians 1:21.

Sin and condemnation will separate you from God.

Satan's plan is for you to sin and feel far from God. Yes, sin does separate righteousness from unrighteousness but Jesus died to bridge that gap. When a person commit a sinful act, Satan would like you to get as far away as possible from the presence of the Lord. You begin to feel like a rejected unworthy lost soul who cannot seem to get it together and God will not answer your prayer nor listen to your heart's cry. .

Look the LORD'S hand is not so short That it cannot save; Nor is His ear so dull That it cannot hear. But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, And your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear.…Isaiah 59:1

Jesus is our advocate and He is always ready to deliver us in times of temptation.

Look To Him Today.

I'm am convinced, that each of us has a special life message to share.

It is not what you think nor brag about yourself, but a message deep within your soul that's design to make lives better. When we yield our spirits to do good and connect to our creator, that message begins to live through our lives daily.

Gifts are operating in great measures through so many people right now. Some display incredible acts of love and forgiveness; others gentleness, some patience and some long-suffering.

We normally do not recognize the value until the person has been removed from this life.

FORGIVE

Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

Forgiveness by God, depends on our willingness to forgive others who offend us; according to Matthew 6:12.

Jesus explained this after the prayer " For if you forgive men their trespasses, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you. " But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

If we are children of the Kingdom of God, then forgiveness and love reigns in the Kingdom.

Let us love one another as we are gods in God's Kingdom. Ps. 82:6

GOD JUDGES

When a nation blaspheme the name of God and His people, judgement is near.

King Herod raised up his hand to vex ( harass ) certain people of the early church Acts 12:1

 He killed James, the brother of John with the sword, and because that made the people happy, he arrested Peter and put him in prison.

Who knows how far he would have gone had it not been for the Holy Spirit preserving God's Kingdom on earth. The Supreme Court of America has also vexed the church again by doing what is popular to the people but contrary to God's law. Legalization of gay marriage throughout the country is contrary to the teachings of the church of Jesus Christ.

As Herod did not prevail, so to God will intervene in America's affairs and preserve His church.

Now is the time to return to God, commit to a local bible teaching, Holy Spirit led church and serve God with sincerity and truth.

Unimaginable judgement is beginning upon this land called America.

The thing that bothers you the most, is the thing you need to focus on and solve.

You have the power to solve it with skill and wisdom to be promoted to the next great task, and gain the experience for a greater victory that's ahead.

Never pile up defeat; or your thoughts will hinder your progress. Always see defeat as another step in the ladder to the top where your greatness awaits you. You have already been crowned!

Romans 8:37 (NIV) Romans 8:37  "No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us".  "Revelation 5:10  You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth."

"The Lord looks from heaven; He sees all the sons of men. From the place of His dwelling He looks on all the inhabitants of the earth; He fashions their hearts individually; He considers all their works" (Psalm 33:13-15).

How great is our God!!!!.  To know there are so many people on planet earth, yet God fashioned each heart individually. He took individual time for each and every one.

He knows you and everything about you. Love Him today and give Him praise with a shout.

For He is very worthy to be praised.

Verse 18 & 19 says "Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, On those who hope in His mercy, to deliver their soul from death, And to keep them alive in famine".

LIFE IS A VAPOR

The more people we know and the more friends we have, is the more we are reminded of our mortality.

When we know and care for others, there is a bond that takes place in the human spirit. The closer the ties, the closer the bond.

When tragedy strikes, we hurt and share the pain in different ways. The mind is confused, the spirit is wounded and the soul is discomforted.

We must constantly tell the people around us how much we love and appreciate them, as life is but a vapor. 

James 4:14 NKJ. Whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.

God speaks to us in dreams, visions, through His  prophets and by His spirit.

Can you imagine if He spoke to us audibly???  Read what His voice can do!

 A psalm of David. Psalm 29. 1-11.

1 Ascribe to the LORD, O mighty ones, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.

 

2Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness. 

3 The voice of the LORD is over the waters; the God of glory thunders, the LORD thunders over the mighty waters.

 

4 The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is majestic.

 

5 The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars; the LORD breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.

Growing up as a boy I loved Sunday school. I hated every day school.

The first song I learned was " HE's  got the whole world in His hands "

 That's a great little children’s song. It was originally written by a full-blooded Cherokee Indian named Obie Philpot while he was in training as part of the military in WWII. When he was deployed, he’d left the lyrics to the song in his locker. Someone found the song and managed to have it put on the radio while he was at war. THANK YOU OBIE.

Since that day, it has been sung by a number of individuals as diverse as Mahalia Jackson and Perry Como. And it’s been sung for decades by numberless children in Sunday Schools and church camps.

I just learned, that due to world's mass and the gravitational pull, weight can be determined.

What does Earth weigh? Earth's weight is 1,000 trillion metric tons, and it is actually gaining weight. That's 5,972,000,000,000,000,000,000 tons.

If you really don't care who gets the credit, and do good works, many will benefit in the end.

The character trait of humility is not always an easy thing to find in people these days.

Society at large today, seeks notoriety and reward. Social media has enabled the masses to re-invent  themselves and post it to the world.

The strange thing about that is some people don't know who they really are and what they want the world to know about themselves.

Everybody wants to be a star and famous. A silly story can get millions of hits on social media in hours. Some have gone from obscurity to fame in one day.

Very few understands the need to supporting a good thing with their gifts and talents in HUMILITY.  The perfect way to greatness is under God's hand.

1Peter 5:6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.

From a list of 25 animals, the chimpanzee is the smartest.

 The only animal that looks closest to humans in form. 

Here is a list of a few.

An octopus can open a closed jar to get a treat.

A squirrel can hide food in many different places and remember.

A pigeon can find its way back home from miles away and map the territory.

Squids can learn new skills and learn to use tools to avoid boredom.

Spiders have high intelligence and demonstrate new learning skills.

Ants can creatively withstand calamities that would  wipe out other species.

Sea lions possess the ability to think logically and can actually deduce if a=b and b=c, then a=c.

Mankind has been able to study every species of life including himself through medical science; yet we only use about 10 percent of our brain.

How Majestic is Your Name!

"What is man that You take thought of him, And the son of man that You care for him?  Yet You have made him a little lower than God, And You crown him with glory and majesty!  You make him to rule over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet". Psalm 8:4.

The word consider ( a verb) comes from a  Latin word considerare, meaning “to look at closely" or "observe,” 

Jesus used this word in His most popular message in the New Testament,  the " Sermon on the mount".  He taught His audience of men and women that there is no need to worry about material things. He told them how much more precious and important they are to the Father than things. Matthew 6:28.

He said "Consider how the lilies are so beautiful, well design and colorful; they blossom in the morning and perish in the afternoon. They don't work nor spin yarn to make clothes as the women did and they are so majestic.

Consider or judge today which is more important to God. A Lilly or You. If it is material ?

Don't worry about it. Trust in His Eternal love and care for you.

FIX THE HEART

The human heart/spirit is a way-ward thing.

Leading the mind/will and emotions away from God, damning the soul into hopelessness.

The heart experiences sorrow and the heart can also rejoice, according to Jesus teachings.St John 16:6 & vs. 20.

When someone is born- again, The Spirit of God renews the heart to righteousness and good standing with The Father. 

This experience influences the mind, will, and emotions to draw closer to God as a new born desiring food. Now your heart rejoices and your ( spirit, will, and emotions) is energized to serving the Lord and your soul is alive for evermore.

Your heart/ spirit is like the key to your house, (your soul). Your mind, will and emotions are other rooms in your house that is affected by your heart decisions.

You can be completely whole today, by giving your heart to Jesus who knows the heart of mankind, and get a Spiritual Overhaul, beginning with the heart. 

Don't trust your heart on this one, Trust Jesus.

Distractions are the greatest setback to success.

When there are so many in one project, we can easily give up, or put it on the shelf not accomplishing our goal. As it is, some projects are so time and energy consuming, added with countless obstacles only make finishing the job seem so difficult.

In today's world, distractions rule. It takes extra self- discipline and tenacity to focus on what is necessary and need to completed.

Technological necessities blinks, buzzes, flashes, beeps and vibrates are part of the distractions. Others are people who you are depending on to do their part. Nevertheless, satisfaction only comes when the project is done.

Here is a secret to overcome.  ' Keep your focus on the finish product while in the process of working at it'. Always envision the end at the beginning.

If you don't set a course in life, you can become a tumbleweed.

Here is the definition of a tumbleweed:- a plant found especially in the desert that breaks away from its roots and is blown across the ground by the wind.

Unfortunately there are people like this, they are referred to as Drifters.

A person or thing that drifts or person who goes from place to place, job to job, etc., remaining in each for a short period. Lack of self-discipline, unsubmissive spirit  and void of understanding purpose are the main reasons for drifters. It is often a choice. We were created for a purpose with special gifting and talents, and therefore have to give an account to our Creator. Ecclesiastes3:1. "To everything there is a season. A time for every purpose under heaven".

GET UNDERSTANDING

One of the greatest treasures in life is understanding.

Though most people do not see it as a treasure, we all enjoy the benefits of those who do.

For instance, Electricity, what is it ? It is not energy; but it lights up our homes, cooks our food, powers our computers, television sets, and other electronic devices. Electricity is the flow of moving electrons. 

Millions of people fly around the world on airplanes, but are completely void of the understanding of aero dynamics. 

When we understand we progress. When we don't have the understanding we falsely perceive.

Misunderstandings among humans have destroyed many relationships that were beneficial.

When we understand, we see clearly the thing that was hidden and confusing.

Make a practice of getting clarity of every disturbing matter before forming an opinion. Life will be much more stress- free. Proverbs 4:7.

In life we experience happiness and sorrow.

Sorrow because we are moral flesh, we experience trouble, we get sick and we die; happiness because we are children of God showered by His love and mercy.

Life is greater than death, therefore the things which pertain to life are always before us.

The Lord gave us life abundantly; Life the way it was meant to be when He created us.

We need to focus on the righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost God has given us and rejoice with happiness and contentment.

Your countenance will always reflect your inner spirit, and be a great testimony to others.

"A merry heart makes a cheerful countenance, but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken".

Proverbs 15:13.

Fear Not

Every living and non- living thing has its limits and fears. The earth has a set course, and the sea has a  boundary.

 Farmers in Kenya Africa over came a fear of elephants destroying their crops. Imagine one elephant can destroy a farmers crop in one night, after months of hard work. The beating of pots and pans by children with adults holding fire sticks were not driving the elephants away from the crop anymore. "Bees on a fence" gets the job done.

In a recent study by Lucy King a researcher discovered that farmers could make "bee fences" by stringing up hives on poles around ten yards apart. 

A strong wire connecting the poles would cause them to swing when an elephant walks into it, disturbing the bees. The swarm bothers elephants so much that they flee, emitting low rumblings inaudible to the human ear that warn other elephants nearby.

On the other hand bees are terrified of parasites, bears and skunks.

What is your fear? There is a remedy. 2Timothy 1:7. Has the answer.
